Traveling abroad without English – is it possible?

“I want to work abroad, but I don’t know English! Would you risk leaving Poland? ” These are the questions I get extremely often from girls who want to work as dancers. And I perfectly understand their doubts and fears.

I was alone in the same place. After 9 years of “learning” English at school, I could hardly introduce myself properly. When I went abroad, my level was tragic, and although I found a job without a problem (and you can do it too!), I quickly decided to train myself. After all, if you want to earn well, you need to be able to tell your boss about it. 😉

That’s why now, when the girls share their doubts about working without a language with me, I have one answer for them: “Don’t panic – you will learn the language on the spot”. I am living proof of this. No magic or unique abilities worked here. Abroad, you simply get used to the language much faster and you have plenty of opportunities to actually use it. That’s why I wholeheartedly encourage you to go and jump into the deep water, especially since you always have my lifejacket at hand.

If you are still wondering if you can do it as well as I do, since you don’t remember anything from school English lessons, I understand you perfectly. However, the girls from the Kate’s Diary Agency team are further evidence that the deep water jump works! I was witnessing a very rapid development of a foreign language in each of them. And it will be no different in your case. 😉

No language knowledge, but not blind

This “deep water jump” is actually just a metaphor, because you’ll never be alone. You can count on my and other girls’ support. I want you to feel confident and safe, that’s why I threw myself into deep water and you don’t have to do it. You already have a paved, straight path.

I checked all the clubs to which the dancers go. I am sure that girls without fluent language skills will be able to handle them, because some time ago I was one of them. There is a story with each place that connects me and when my dancers ask how I managed to do it so well, I reveal what was the secret of this success. And I’ll tell you about her too.

I succeeded because someone believed in me, just gave me a chance. I am a brave and strong woman – I’m usually not afraid of anything. However, if it hadn’t been for the chance I had received earlier, I wouldn’t have reached the place where I am today. And now I want to give other girls the same chance – that’s my way of saying “thank you”.

Praca za granicą bez znajomości języka

Over the past year, I’ve been preparing scripts for conversations with clients that will help you prepare for going abroad and starting work. You should study them carefully so that you can feel confident from day one. Thanks to these scripts you will avoid awkward silence during the conversation – you will always know when, what and how to say. These are valuable materials that will help you earn great money, so don’t forget to read them carefully.

How to learn a language My effective method

Forget about sticking individual words from the whole dictionary! 😉 At first, they won’t be much of a help. You should care first of all about efficient communication, not many synonyms. That’s why you need basic returns at work to start. I have prepared a special list of useful expressions that you should learn. Just practical phrases that you will use every day, and thus you will quickly learn them and will be able to go a step further. Remember to devote at least 10 minutes a day to learning.

Systematic language study will allow you to rely on yourself, not others. I want you to feel confident and free at work, which is why I make it as easy as possible for you to move to full independence. Thanks to this, you will be able to settle everyday matters yourself, such as signing a contract or talking to your boss. You will take matters into your own hands! 😉

Another important thing is to practice the language at every opportunity. Talk to people on the street, cashier in the store – give yourself a chance to grow. And even if you do not succeed – do not give up. With time and subsequent attempts it will only be better! The main thing is to break internal resistance and act. This scheme was effective in my case and also worked well with the other girls from the Kate’s Diary Agency. It will certainly work for you too!

You already know that finding a job in a foreign country without knowing the language is indeed possible and not so difficult. However, it’s best for you and the amount of your earnings to start catching up as soon as possible and use every opportunity (including my help). 😉

Then you will really feel how wonderful it can be to travel and work in different European cities – full freedom and independence. Your life in your hands. 😉
