What I love about my work is that I never stand still. I continue to grow and discover new fascinating places. This time, in search of sunshine and good energy, I headed to the very south of Europe. Sit back and relax while I tell you about my impressions of the amazing capital of Greece.
City of contrasts
Athens is the cradle of our civilization. I’ll tell you honestly that I imagined it as a city full of monuments. In a way, I was not wrong. At every turn you can find traces of antiquity – there is plenty to explore! At the same time, Athens surprised me a lot. It is a huge modern metropolis that continues to expand. It is said that in a few years it will become the European Dubai and attract the richest and most demanding tourists.
The city that doesn’t sleep
Athens’ nightlife is vibrant until dawn. Known for their hot southern temperament, the Greeks know how to party! Bustling streets, dancing people, Metaxa and top-notch clubs – I have to confess to you – I let myself be swept away by this amazing atmosphere.
Athens is an ideal place for dancers who are starting out in the club. Here you can choose between two work systems:
- Dancing on the platform all night long, without interacting with guests in the club. In this option, earnings are fixed at €50 per night.
- Dancing combined with talking to guests, selling private shows and alcohol. The base salary in this case is €60 per night, and on top of that you get a commission from the sale of dances and liquor.
So a dancer can slowly implement and get used to her new job, dancing only on the platform, and then decide for herself whether she wants to earn more.
Sun, work and vacations
Imagine a lazy afternoon on a sandy beach just 30 minutes away from Athens Glyfada. Relaxing music comes from a nearby pub, blending perfectly with the sound of the waves. You watch the colorful kites of kitesurfers.
Rested, you return to the city, straight to a delicious dinner in a Greek taverna. As night falls, your appetite for fun grows. Fortunately, you’re in for a wild night full of dancing, inspiring conversations, new friendships and good music.
